As James continues writing about the conflict happening within the early church, he takes the opportunity here in chapter 4, verses 11-12, to address one of the specific issues found in their conflict, which was gossip, slander, and harsh judgment. These issues reveal a lot about us, and in this sermon, Caleb takes us through how the harsh judgment we throw on people is actually an attempt to "play God," but unlike God, we are unable to offer the perfect grace and mercy that He has presented to us through His Son, Jesus Christ.
